Vision and Values
So why “Restoring the World through Christ”?
Because Christ overcame evil to redeem and restore all the relationships that exist in life! Therefore our goal is to reconcile people to God, and in so doing, to one another and the world!
Restoring relationship with God
God longs for people to pursue a reconciled relationship with Him
Our goal is to restore people to God as mirrors of His image and glory
Restoring relationship with Others
God longs for people to pursue reconciled relationships with others
Our goal is to restore people through forgiveness and reconciliation
Restoring relationship with Creation
God longs for people to pursue a reconciled relationship with creation
Our goal is to restore the purity of the earth and subdue it through wise stewardship so that it reflects its original glory, beauty and order
“The cross of Christ is first and centrally God’s means of reconciling sinful people to
His sinless self. But it is bigger than that too. From the ground we see the cross as
our bridge to God. From the air, the cross is our bridge to the restoration of all things.
The cross of the battered Son of God is the battering ram through the blockade into
Eden. It is our key into a better Eden, into the wonders of the new-covenant kingdom,
of which the old was just a shadow. The cross is the linchpin in God’s plan to restore
all creation. Is it any wonder, then, that the empty tomb opened out into a garden?”
