OVERVIEW
COUNSELING
Living in a broken world presents a lot of challenges to us as human beings. We all struggle to understand how our soul, mind, and emotions are supposed to function harmoniously. Put all that into a human body (also affected by the fall) and we become pretty complicated creatures. One of the greatest resources to help make sense of the issues we struggle with in life is the ministry of the Christian Counseling & Education Foundation.
Since 1968, the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation has set the pace in biblical counseling. They teach people how to explore the wisdom and depth of the Bible and apply its grace-centered message to the problems of daily living. Simply put their mission is to Restore Christ to Counseling and Counseling to the Church.
Their mission…
CCEF exists to Restore Christ to Counseling. They have a passion for personal change that is centered in the person of Christ. They have seen Him bring significant change to individual lives. This passion is their heritage and heartbeat, and it leads them to constantly revisit the question, “How do the riches of the Gospel impact my life and my efforts to help others?” Everything they do flows from our desire to equip Christians to live and love in a Christ-centered way.
CCEF also exists to Restore Counseling to the Church. They believe that the body of Christ is God’s primary context for change, the community God uses to transform his people. CCEF’s mission is to equip the church to be this kind of transforming community. They see themselves as an extension of the local church, and they want to serve and promote its ministry.
They accomplish their mission through a unique synergy of counseling, courses, publications, and conferences. What ties these strands together is their passion to equip God’s people to experience Christ amid the challenges of daily life.

PEACEMAKER MINISTRIES
Because God has reconciled us to Himself through Christ, Christians can be reconciled to one another!
Peacemaker Ministries’ passion is for “Transforming Relationships with the Power of the Gospel.” They accomplish this through their mission, which is to equip and assist Christians and their churches to respond to conflict biblically. In a more expanded version, their mission is to equip and assist Christians and their churches to respond to conflict biblically by developing and delivering outstanding, life-changing resources, training, and services to a multitude of receptive churches throughout the world. They prepare church leaders, adults, and children for peacemaking through educational resources, seminars, and training. They also provide conflict coaching, mediation, and arbitration services to resolve church and ministry disputes, lawsuits, family divisions, and business conflicts.

PRISON FELLOWSHIP

Their mission…
PRISON FELLOWSHIP believes that no life is beyond the reach of God’s power, and they envision a future in which countless prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families, are redeemed, restored, and reconciled through the love and truth of Jesus Christ. They equip local churches and thousands of trained volunteers to spread the Gospel and nurture disciples behind prison walls, so that men and women become new creations in Christ – not repeat offenders. They prepare Christian inmates to become leaders of their families, communities, and churches once they are released back into the community.
PRISON FELLOWSHIP supports inmates’ families, helping them become reconciled to God and one another through transformative relationships with local churches.
They can’t do it alone…
Prisons can be dark places. Just imagine the weight of all that brokenness, despair, and alienation collected between four thick walls. Does the message of Jesus apply here? We believe it does!
In 2001 Prison Fellowship startedOperation Starting Line (OSL), a collaborative network of ministries seeking to evangelize and disciple prisoners and their families.
OSL brings together dozens of Christian organizations to prisons across the country with a simple, life-changing message: that Jesus came to seek and save the lost.
Together, we can scatter the seeds of God’s Word — a critical first step on the road to new life for countless inmates in search of a new beginning!Learn more about OSL
